The weather is cold and wet and we have 20 beds that are not being used due to lack of funding. Please Help us reopen the Emergency side of Gabriel’s House before the holidays!! There are so many women and children sleeping in their cars or on someone’s sofa. Every donation get’s us closer to being able to have more of them here at Gabriel’s House.
Please Donate at tkcoxnard.org today

Hey friends, we need silent auction items for our Sept. 15th fundraiser. If you own a business, do a home business like Pampered Chef, Sentsy, Avon, Mary Kay etc. large or small items are appreciated. Gift baskets are perfect. If you are an artist and would like to contribute a piece of artwork, a handmade quilt, crocheted or knitted items that would be an amazing contribution to the auction. We have gift certificates from hairstylists, chiropractors, a tattoo artist (yep), theater tickets, a renaissance festival, a 2 day package at a resort, an adult ticket to Disneyland. We are shooting for 60 items and still need more! 90% of ticket prices and all the money from the silent auction will go directly to funding the 2 centers! Your investment will change lives.
Bates Family Chiropractic is proud to team up with Gabriel’s House to help them continue their mission serving Ventura County. For the month of September we will be offering an initial consultation, examination, neurological assessment, x-rays, and detailed report of findings for $35. 100% of the proceeds will go to Gabriel’s House.
Through this fundraiser we hope to help them re-open their emergency shelter. Every day we help patients who suffer from neck and back pain, sciatica, scoliosis, headaches, fatigue, symptoms of carpal tunnel, knee pain, etc. with tremendous success. The best way to determine if we are able to help you with your pain or other symptoms is through a thorough exam and x-ray analysis. In our office we utilize high resolution digital motion x-rays to see what is functioning properly and what is not. We encourage people to be proactive about their health and to not wait for a crisis to address it. By keeping yourself healthy, you will be better able to provide for your family, serve your community, and live your best life possible.
Call (805)389-9222 today to schedule your appointment before the end of September. Be sure to mention Gabriel’s House when you call so we will know to forward your $35 donation to them. Thank you for your support!
As most of you know this shelter has a special place in our hearts as it was dedicated after our son Gabriel Louis deDomenico who passed away last year. We have been consistently involved with this organization and we thought this would be a perfect event to help support. Any amount would be appreciated and all major credit cards are accepted. Transitional Living at Gabriel’s House brings hope and a place to grow. Meet Ariel and her adorable 2 year old daughter Iyrie.
At 23 years of age Ariel found herself homeless with a 2 year old daughter. Working a minimum wage didn’t even given her enough money to rent the smallest of apartments. God lead her to Gabriel’s House where she found hope and restored faith in the kindness of people. After 6 months at Gabriel’s House she has found her hope for the future. She now works at Starbucks, is a Mary Kay lady because she love to help women and is enrolled in school to become a rehab counselor within the next year. Iyrie is healthy and happily enrolled in a wonderful preschool while her mommy works hard at being a working single mom, getting her education for their future and having the support and nurturing atmosphere that Gabriel’s House brings her.
Ariel is able to do what she needs to do without worrying about putting a roof over her head and what she will feed her daughter. A sponsoring church contributes towards her housing and food and offers her a family of support. Thank you Camarillo Christian Church for your support! We need more churches and individuals just like you!
